Cloud tiers need a connection for printing, kitchen screens and syncing. If the signal drops, taking sales keeps working — orders queue on the device and sync when you're back. A phone hotspot is enough for a small trader; 4G/Starlink for multi-till. No internet at all at your pitch? That's the Custom tier — our on-site appliance or your own machine, fully offline.
Optional but recommended: a Star receipt printer and a cash drawer that kicks open on cash sales. Take cards on your own SumUp/Zettle reader. No printer yet? Digital receipts work from day one.
